+In contrast to the legacy wiki, we are trying to maintain a hierarchical organization in this wiki. This should make things easier to find as well as making it easier to apply ACLs (what is an ACL?) to the wiki. Details on using namespaces can be found in the [[wiki:syntax#internal|formatting syntax]] page. The following is the basic hierarchy as of the current revision.
+  * userdocs - Documentation targeted at users should live in this namespace, or one of the namespaces that fall under it
+    * tutorials - Procedural documentation, written for users, that covers how to accomplish specific tasks
+  * admindocs - This documentation is meant for the admins/devs and is more technical in nature
+    * services - Documentation on specific services the admins manage
+    * procedures - Procedural documentation on how to accomplish various common admin tasks
